Hanna Bauer: involved in civic aspects of professional duties “beyond the call”:
—Service-oriented organization of special services for children within the Davis schools
—Yolo County Mental Health Association: President, organization and direction of local programs, emphasis on children, child advocacy
—Sacramento Valley Psychological Association: President-Elect, development of programs aimed at coordinating and improving psychological services on regional basis
—Mental Health Advisory Board: President-Elect; emphasis on humanistic services for our citizens. Civic supporter and contributor to art and science
—Continuous support of local endeavors in art and music. Author of books, depicting poetry and technology
—Participation on numerous local committees
—Teaching the civic responsibilities of science by addressing numerous groups within the community and at UCD
